About QuickKit

QuickKit is a small collection of everyday tools — QR codes, barcodes, and link shortening with click analytics — built to be fast, free, and free of clutter. No account is required to generate or scan a code; you can be in and out in under a minute.

Why we built it

Most free tool sites bury a simple task under intrusive ads, forced sign-ups, or watermarked downloads. We wanted something closer to a utility: open the page, do the task, download the result. The link-tracking dashboard is the one part that does need a login, simply because it's showing data tied to links you've created rather than a public tool anyone can use.

How the tools work

QR code and barcode generation and scanning run entirely in your browser — nothing you type or upload for those tools is sent to a server. The link shortener is different: because a short link needs to redirect visitors and record analytics, that part does run through our server, and click data (country, device type, browser, referring site) is stored so you can see it on your dashboard.
